Although our main focus right now is definitely the push for Halloween, it is never too early to get ready for the next holiday ahead, Christmas! We have a lot of items in stock for Christmas that are Red and Green. Non Light Up Items for Halloween

At Virginia Toy and Novelty, although we specialize in LED and Glow products, we have learned that a lot of our customers have day time events that need supplying! In order to please them and keep their loyalty to VTN, we have started a new line of non light up products for this 2011 Halloween season. This is the item that we are very excited and are getting a lot of inquiries about. These are our green Halloween Mummy Straws! They are the famous "bendy" type straws and are great for any event and any age group! They border the line of cute, but also, crazy enough for a spooky halloween party!

 If you'd like to get a cool cup to compliment the straw, you can get a halloween Sippy Cup! These are great for kids because they are given the chance to drink straight out of the head of a creepy, cool Halloween figure!

But, if you'd like to keep it classy for the grown folks, you can choose our Skeleton Hand Wine Glass and fill it with your favorite adult beverage! It makes for a cool conversation starter and also is very catching of the eye!

Why I Love VTN!

Virginia Toy and Novelty is a wholesale distributer of light up and LED products. We also are expanding into selling retail items for individual sale. We are currently getting into the end of our most successful year. It has been constantly growing since 1998 and is only continuing to grow everyday.

I decided to create this blog in order to give our customers and any interested/prospect buyers a look into what, who, and where Virginia Toy is. Every employee in our office, included me (the intern), is very close and we are sort of like a work-family. We spend every day pushing each other, encouraging each other, and testing each other's skills.

The benefit of working for a small company is that you get this type of environment. I would not trade working for a small company for anything. I have been given the opportunity to test my own skills, use them, and learn more as I go. For big companies, students would never be given the responsibilities and opportunities I have been given, and for that I am thankful.

I hope that this blog is very informative in giving anyone reading, a good background understanding of who we are and what we are trying to accomplish as an up and coming large-scale distributer of fun, festive, and fair products. :)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As most American citizens know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are many walks that take place in order to show support and raise money for cures towards the disease that is sweeping over the nation. These walks take place all day and all night all over America. There is one here in the Hampton Roads that will be held at Harbor Park on October 8, 2011. We have many items and products that can be customized with the famous "pink ribbon" logo or that simply light up in pink LEDs. This is just a simple way that we will be able to help any group in need of their own unique pink items for their walk.

Patriotism is something that should be spread all year round. Here at Virginia Toy, we are always informing our customers of the great LED red, white, and blue items we have to offer. We are proud to be Americans, as many of our customers are too!
